short film

Baby Blue

BABY BLUE is my first short narrative film which I wrote, produced and directed.

BABY BLUE stars Lovell Adams-Gray (CORONER, SLASHER) and Kiana Madeira (TRINKETS). It played in film festivals in the US and Canada: the Portland Film Festival (US), Los Angeles Olympus Film Festival winning “Best Romance Short” (US), the Toronto New Wave Film Festival winning “Best Director” (CANADA) and The Female Eye Film Festival (CANADA).

SYNOPSIS: Kane is caught off guard when Reese says "I love you", forcing the couple to explore their own definitions of love, time, and monogamy. Quickly discovering that they have polar views, they break apart and come together, push and reach, while learning the thin line between compromise and self-sacrifice. In BABY BLUE, time is a cruel mistress and monogamy the unwelcome guest. Battling through contrasting moments of frustration and tenderness, Reese lands on her feet, planting them firmly. In these sacred, intimate moments, BABY BLUE offers comfort in the universal heartbreak of breaking up.
