Vikings: A World Revealed

An epic, two-part 4th season of VIKINGS needed an equally epic interactive experience: a backstage pass took users on an intimate behind-the-scenes journey, guided by the stars of the show. History Channel and Take 5 Productions partnered with digital production company Jam3 to make it all happen–with everyone's combined efforts, we reached 22.6 million viewers in the first month and locked in a 5th season early.

In filming the interactive video stories, we wanted to keep the look and feel of the series itself—moody and sophisticated. However, because much of the content dealt with real people and behind-the-scenes topics, we leaned on docu-style filmmaking to ground our stories.
