An epic, two-part 4th season of Vikings needed an equally epic interactive experience: a backstage pass took users on an intimate behind-the-scenes journey, guided by the stars of the show. History Channel and Take 5 Productions partnered with digital production company Jam3 to make it all happen–everyone's combined efforts, we reached 22.6 million viewers in the first month and locked in a 5th season early.
As the Lead Creative, I was responsible for carrying out the creative vision for both interactive and content productions, from pitch to launch. I wrote four main journey scripts for Katheryn Winnick, Travis Fimmel, Linus Roache, Alyssa Sutherland, and Moe Dunford. I also wrote interview questions that dictated the story direction for over 15 cast and crew members, worked closely with the Director on set (in Dublin, Ireland) to capture all content on-the-fly, and supervised story editing of over 20 videos in post production.
